What is a burner kit?
A gas fire pit burner kit, also known as a built-in burner, gas fire pit insert, or gas fire pit kit is an outdoor gas appliance that is built permanently into the landscaping of your garden or outdoor space. Build your perfect gas fire pit, fire bowl, or fire pit table using our powerful and adjustable burner kit.
These differ from free-standing, mobile gas fire pits, in that you'll provide the gas fire pit structure for the burner kit, and you're in control over the finished look.
How much heat?
When it comes to keeping you warm - it’s all about the kilowatt (kW) rating. There are many gas fire pits out there with relatively low kW ratings and even some cheeky fibbers claiming impossible numbers! While lower output burners can produce beautiful decorative flames, they can be lacking when it comes to keeping you toasty. Brightstar Fires benefits
We make all our own gas fire pit burner kits right here in the UK, and all of our kits are CE approved safe. The powerful and adjustable 18 kW heat output will keep you and your guests cosy.
Our star shaped burners are 60 cm across, and help focus the flames more towards the centre, for a more natural looking fire. This jet configuration is found on our square, round and octagonal burner kits. Our rectangular gas fire pit burners are 100cm x 30cm, with two rows of jets for a more substantial fire. Finally, our extra long twin rectangular burner kit is 190 cm long.
In 2023, we updated all gas fire pits and burner kits to arrive with our new battery electric ignitor, making it even faster and easier to light your fire pit.
